Advice for Parents Confused by Their Child Education Options

I am the mother of four children, and while my oldest is in high school, my youngest is just entering kindergarten! Not surprisingly, I have learned a lot about child education throughout my years of parenting. It is amazing to learn about new child education research that didn't exist when my oldest child was in elementary school. For example, I recently learned that children "lose" a lot of the knowledge they learn during a school year each and every summer break. I then began hiring a tutor to visit each of my children once a week during the summer to help prevent "summer learning loss." I am eager to share my child education experience and research with any parent who needs the advice on my new blog!
